Zwischen Ausnahmezustand und Souveränitätsbehauptung

'Between Exceptionalism and Expressing Sovereignty': The thesis examines the security exception clause in international economic law. It analyses the dogmatic foundations, historical origins and susceptibility to abuse of the clause. In addition, the phenomenon of securitisation is examined as a political mechanism and in the form of legal design. Influenced by this, states adapt their design and behaviour (in dispute resolution).

Felix Klindworth studierte Rechtswissenschaften und Wirtschaftsrecht an der Martin-Luther Universität Halle-Wittenberg und an der SWUPL in Chongqing, China. Sei Referendariat absolvierte er am Oberlandesgericht Schleswig mit Stationen in Frankfurt und u.a. beim Bundeskanzleramt in Berlin. Seit 2025 ist er als Rechtsanwalt in Hamburg tätig.
